Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (Nes) CO-OP Playthrough /Best 8bit TMNT game
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III The Manhattan Project (1991) from Konami is by far the best ninja turtles game for 8bit systems, and personally my favorite of all the brand. Whether it's the best Beat'em up for the system is a matter of speculation, but for me it is :P Graphics, animation, music, maps , backgrounds everything is at an above average level. As it is in Beat'em up games we go sideways and eliminate all the unfortunates on our way. . The game very often tries to surprise us by unleashing enemies on us from different sides, from elements of the environment, activating traps or area threats. There are really a lot of types of enemies, so in this respect it is really good and there is nothing to complain about. But the most important aspect of the game are fights with bosses. This is by far the best set of bosses of the entire series of games about turtles I have been in contact with...... no literally a pleiad of stars. Here we have practically all the most famous turtle opponents and each one is different in its own way. They are distinguished by different attacks as well as abilities. The maps and their elements are very detailed by nesa standards....... all in all, it's hard for me to complain about anything really. Hmmmm....... the attacks are few as there are only 4 regular attacks, throw, jump attack and a special one that takes away our energy every time we use it. Other than that I do not see any drawbacks. It is a masterpiece , which if converted to 16 bit would be far better even than "Turtles in Time" . As for me it is without a problem a game that fits in the top 10 games on the Nes.
