Under the OPIS institute, a barely functional space program |
previous to the Antelope program| -the probe known as AEON
resource pathfinder is to be launched into a high polar orbit of
around 150kms. The OPIS program currently acts as a substitute to
the re-usable Antelope SSTO program which has proven so far to not
be perfectly efficient. Interestingly, the function of the OPIS
rockets are for sending larger deep space probes meant for extra-
planetary operations.
Currently, the mission is to send the AEON Resource Pathfinder
upobn high orbit in order to analyze the resources present around
the world. The AEON technologies are used for prospecting possible
natural resources around Earth but also as a proof of concept for
future missions beyond Earth and SOL. The probe will also be functioning alongside its sister probe : FRONTIERS which is built similarely for observing the Earth. sharing similare orbits, the probes will characterize the world with their Wide Array cameras and detectors.
