MetiKSP E21 | ATS14 - Eve And a Launch During Eclipse! | Lagrange Space Telescope via Enigma Drone
umm um
One of the most crucial missions for the Union space program,
actually for the world is now in the hands of the ATS Space
agency. namely the Lagrange Space telescope. An analogue between
the real world's hubble and Kepler spacecraft. the Lagrange Space
Telescope is a superpowerful telescope created to detect and
observe stars, alongside closer planets in the solar system.
Currently budgeted at 790 million dollars, the mission is probably
one of the most advanced and important scientific milestones set
in place. The Lagrange Space Telescope will be able to view other
celestial bodies in the solar system, however most of its systems
are absolved for observing far-away stars. This implies that the
spacecraft is only capable of observing nearby planets (not too
close to the sun) neither too far.
The day of the launch coincides with a major lunar eclipse over
the equatorial of the world. Where the day dims as black as night.
Carried upon the Enigma | which was prepared at least 3 days in
place at launchpad |. The most important instrument and science
package is to be launched into space. with nearly 1 Billion
dollars worth of funds in jeopardy, it is extremely important that
this mission goes as perfect as possible.
The detachment of the liquid fuel tanks goes as planned, with the
current ramifications, the seperation is to occur later then
usual. This is due to the extremely high injection orbit intended
to put the Lagrange sattelite into an equatorial orbit of~ 3900kms
much further then any previous probes launched as of yet.
Due to the extremely sensitive lens of the Lagrange Space
telescope, extremely long observations must be procured away from
the sun. The first comission of the Lagrange Space telescope is a
rather risky one, an observation and study of the nearest planet
known as Eve. Where the ATS Space program intends to send its
future probes to. The proceedure succeeded, however, several
instruments were temporarily overwhelmed by the albedo reflection
of the planet from the sun. This was predicted that the planet of
Eve probably has a very even and 'marble' like surface. Nothing
more is known except the fact that Eve might possibly show
telltale signs of having an atmosphere. Further results review
that there appears to be a surmountable plume of gas H3 and
Carbondioxide 'tail' which appears behind the planet as a result
from solar winds. Further suggesting a possible atmosphere.
Hopefully with the new technology, the probe' Ganymede X' will be
able to arrive Eve in a flyby mission.
