Metro Exodus {part 7} 'ANNA, SWEETHEART' where are 'YOU' ?? !!!
Let's play Metro Exodus on Xbox One S and this is part 6 in the series. All gameplay footage has been captured using the Xbox One's built-in capture software and then upscaled from 720p to 1080p using upscaling software for the best quality image I am currently able to achieve. So, this episode begins overlooking the lakes and watching as the sea monster or creature paddles around at the surface of the water. We have just received a radio call from Miller calling us all back to the train and we are also told Anna has gone missing. We see on our map that Anna is in fact the closest waypoint so it seems reasonable to look for her first and then we can head back to the train and speak with Miller. At first it appears Anna is holding up in the wooden shack we discovered previously as her waypoint looks to be right in that location but after getting to the house and entering it, we find Anna is nowhere to be seen. Another study of the map reveals that she is right next to the old shack, but where? There isn't much there other than a flimsy radio mast and some concrete holding it in the ground... But we remember the large doors we sore on our way to finding the cabin and decide to investigate there only to find there is no way of opening the doors. We at least now have our first lead and realise that Anna must be behind those big steel doors somewhere but just how do we get the doors open... After some exploring, we decide the most likely answer must be some kind of grate or vent up on the hill/roof where the steel doors lead
to. The doors are built into the side of a mound of earth, so we climb up on top of the mound and begin searching for a vent or some kind of trap doorway in. It seems a while, but we do finally fall through a hole we didn't quite see and by luck we have entered the bunker and have fallen directly besides Anna who appears to be in some serious trouble. The air down here is toxic, and Anna has not got her gas mask on! o the first thing we must do is get it on her and hope it's not too late. Luckily it isn't too late, and Anna wakes up to live another day, but we are now trapped inside the bunker and need to find a way out. The big steel doors turn out to be electrically operated so we look for the switch box so that we can get the power back on and the doors open. It turns out we are not alone down here and some more of those awful humanoid creatures are in here with us which we have to kill to progress. We also collect many supplies which is an added bonus and very much appreciated even if we did have to see more of those grotesque creatures! After a short way around, we find the power box and plugging in the charger we fire it up... But nothing really
happens and it appears to be only partially providing power to a few lights if even that. Moving through the area some more we finally come to a wheel on the wall that we must turn to open the large doors manually. Luckily, it's not seized up and we finally crank the doors open to the outside. Making our way back to Anna, we help her up and see two of the others from our group have also entered the bunker to check on us. Once again Miller contacts us on our radio shouting to us to hurry up and get back to the train as something is wrong and we need to hurry up. walking back to the water's edge we find the rowboat and begin rowing our way back across the river towards the train bridge, but something goes wrong with navigating, and we end up stuck on what appears to be a patch of land surrounded on all sides by water. There is a house to explore which we do, and we do find some crafting and supplies, but the little island also houses a few of the shrimp like creatures that spit and so we have to make a mad dash for the boat as we are taking more damage than excepted. Not wanting to waste a med syrette and thinking we would be safe once we got in our little rowboat we decided not to heal as we are just not that badly injured.... Rowing away we are reminded that shrimp creatures can climb onto our boat preventing us from moving so a quick
get away is out of the question. As the shrimp on our boat attacks and the shrimp in the water spit and panicked we fumble for the med kit it is all over. DEAD! We load back up where we left Anna five minutes ago and sulk off to the cabin for some much-needed rest lol. This is where this episode ends.
