Continuing from the last part, we begin to make our way back to Cataris to try and fix the freezing temperatures that the X has unleashed on the planet in an attempt to eliminate Samus. The freezing temperatures seems to have frozen over a lot of the doors in Artaria, leading to very minimal exploration but I still try to get what can be gotten.

Arriving at Cataris, we see that the lack of thermal energy has also affected the area. Following the path that's not frozen over leads us into a boss fight, Experiment Z-57, fighting this boss was difficult as he took me out a few times, one of the times he took me out was my own fault since I was trying to get a Shinespark off against the guy during the wind attack. One thing is for sure though, the Storm Missiles upgrade is really getting it's money's worth with how well it just demolishes a bosses health.

With Experiment Z-57 defeated, the thermal energy device starts working again, bringing the temperature of the areas back to normal. Of course, on our way here we came across an upgrade item that we had to pass up due to the frozen water getting in the way. With the temperature back to normal, the ice has melted and we can go retrieve the upgrade which is a Metroid classic, the Screw Attack.

With the Screw Attack obtained, we start making our way back from the way we came, along the way we get ambushed by two Robot Chozo Soldiers in Burenia, with all the upgrades we have they're made short work of without too much trouble before we take the Green Teleportal back to Ghavoran.

Making it back to Ghavoran, we don't get to enjoy our Screw Attack for long before we come across the next boss, Golzuna, who seems to have a slight taste for Bomberman like bombs for its attacks. Beating Golzuna and it's core X grants us that ability for ourselves, the Cross Bomb, which using it's cross shaped explosions, allows us to get past multiple crumble blocks in a Morph Ball tunnel.

Getting past Golzuna eventually leads us to a shuttle that takes us to Hanubia, but we don't get to stay there for long before we find an elevator that takes us back to Ferenia, after all, there's still that E.M.M.I. that's prowling around there but we'll deal with that thing in the next part.
