From where the last part left off, we continue on with exploring Ferenia while trying to avoid the E.M.M.I. that is chasing us in the last part, though we don't enter the E.M.M.I. zone until after I've beaten the next boss, Escue.

Escue was quite the fight, since any chances to damage him involve waiting for him to do a specific attack, and as the video shows, in the starting moments of the fight I just kept shooting at an invincible target. I did sort myself out soon enough and managed to take out Escue which it then reverts to a Core-X form. Meaning that most boss fights from here will involve fighting the main boss then its core-x.

Beating Escue, we get a new power up for the missiles, Storm Missles, which opens up some new areas for us to explore by being able to now open the boxes that require 5 switches to be hit at almost the same time.

After getting to try out the power up on a progress blocker, we come across more of the Robot Chozo Soldiers, only this time we fight two at once, just having more than one target to worry about quickly escalates the fight to the point where I got killed. But my second attempt went a bit smoother, not to also mention that I got to test the Storm Missiles on bosses.

Using the Storm Missiles, we then obtain the Space Jump, however it seems that most of the upgrades we will be getting involve going backwards as we go from Ferenia all the way back to Burenia to obtain the Gravity Suit upgrade. Along the way though we come across a Speed Booster puzzle which I solve to get a missile+ expansion.

After getting the Gravity Suit and getting to a network station to report to Adam, he warns us on how the temperature of ZDR is dropping and the X are most likely to blame. Moving further we come across an elevator that takes us all the way back to Artaria, and the first room we come across upon leaving the elevator makes it clear that the dropping temperature of ZDR has caused part of Artaria to freeze over.

Going deeper into the frozen area, we come across another Chozo Soldier, beating him and exploring further we reach another network station where Adam tells us that something has happened to the temperture control system in Cataris, giving us our goal for the next part.
