*– VIDEO INTRODUCTION –*
The Minus World are glitch levels in _Super Mario Bros._
To get to the Minus World, land in an exact spot on the pipe leading to the Goal Pole in World 1-2. If done correctly, Mario will travel through the pipe and fall into the Warp Zone. The pipe on the left (or right) leads to the Minus World. For more information see the Super Mario Wiki at – [https://www.mariowiki.com/Minus_World].
The timestamps for each world can be found at the bottom of the video description box.
*– GAME OVERVIEW –*
_Super Mario Bros._ for the Famicom Disk System is a side-scrolling platformer. It was ported by Nintendo Research & Development No. 4 (Nintendo R&D4) and published by Nintendo. The game was released in Japan on February 21, 1986.
The Famicom Disk System port of _Super Mario Bros._ is almost identical to the original (Famicom or NES) version. The only notable difference is in the Minus World; the glitch behaves differently, creating multiple worlds that can be completed instead of an unfinishable underwater level.
• Nintendo first released _Super Mario Bros._ for the Famicom on September 13, 1985.
• In _Super Mario Bros.,_ Bowser and his army invaded the Mushroom Kingdom, kidnapped Princess Peach and used magic to turn the Toads into inanimate objects. Mario and (in two-player mode) his brother Luigi set out to rescue the princess and free the kingdom.
• _Super Mario Bros._ is credited, along with the Nintendo Entertainment System, as one of the key factors in reviving the video game industry in the United States after the market crash of 1983, and helped popularize the side-scrolling platform genre.
◦ It is one of the best-selling video games of all time, with more than fifty-eight million copies sold worldwide.
◦ The game spawned a multimedia franchise that includes a long-running game series, an animated television series, a live-action feature film and an upcoming animated feature film.
• To celebrate the _Super Mario_ series, an event has been held every five years since 2005 in which Nintendo releases _Super Mario Bros._ - themed hardware and software, such as:
- a re-release of the Famicom Mini port of _Super Mario Bros._ for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance (GBA) (in the 2005 "Happy! Mario 20th" event);
- _Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition (スーパーマリオコレクション スペシャルパック, Suupaa Mario Korekushon Supesharu Pakku,_ lit. _Super Mario Collection Special Pack)_ and a Nintendo Virtual Console (VC) port of _Super Mario Bros._ – called _25th Anniversary Super Mario Bros. (スーパーマリオブラザーズ25周年バージョン)_ – for the Nintendo Wii (as part of the "Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary" event in 2010);
- _Super Mario Maker (スーパーマリオメーカー)_ for the Nintendo Wii U and two special edition 8-bit Mario amiibos (as part of the "Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary" event in 2015);
- a limited edition Nintendo Game & Watch (G&W) handheld electronic device – Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. (in the 2020 "Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary" event).
