Hello gamers, and welcome to yet another playthrough! This video is of HeR Interactive’s third and final release of 2010, Shadow at the Water’s Edge.

This game is rich in puzzles, funny dialogue, stellar music, and an interesting storyline. This is one of my favourite Nancy Drew games, no question. The only low points, in my view, are the long pieces of dialogue, especially with Takae, a few continuity errors, and Nancy’s disrespectful approach when asking (sometimes unnecessary) questions. Nancy is rather insensitive, though it sounds as though HeR Interactive tried to make her sympathetic. It’s a rather poor delivery, unfortunately. Despite that, this is still a truly enjoyable game (give me all the nonograms, please).
