Welcome back to another international mystery solved by Nancy Drew, The Captive Curse! In this 24th game by HeR Interactive, Nancy investigates a monster at a castle in Germany. This is not a game that I play often and I had forgotten many details, which made it a lot of fun when it came to playing it again.

This game contains some of the funniest dialogue of the series. I had forgotten most of these entertaining lines, and it made playing through the game so much more enjoyable. Lukas is a hoot, as are Karl and Markus. The animation is also superb, as HeR Interactive took the time to add additional movements to help accentuate the personalities of the characters.

This game, though not one of my favourites, does hold a special place in my heart, as I was one of the many forum members who helped design the Raid card Bonaparte. It is one of my fondest memories of the HeR Interactive Message Board and a game. It's extra special given that we are able to create another card, as Nancy, as part of the game play.

I hope you all enjoy this playthrough, despite its length (5 hours, eek!).
