A new military police station has opened at Elmpt in Germany as the area's main military police post.

The facility at Javelin Barracks is taking over from nearby JHQ Rheindahlen's police station - which closes in April.

It will offer a round the clock service that includes crime reduction advice. Now Elmpt Military Police are patrolling the streets of Javelin Barracks.
