Ninja Gaiden Game Sample - Game Gear

Ninja Gaiden is another one of those strange Game Gear titles that you'd never really expect to see on the Game Gear much like Mega Man and both are amongst the more uncommon titles on the Game Gear. There is also an excellent NG game for the Sega Master System that differs from this game.
In this game, you play as none other than Ryu Hayabusa, with this journey being redesigned by Sega. This game is about as tough as any other NG game, perhaps a bit moreso due to the lack of a continue feature. It sports some pretty nifty ninja action, nice cutscenes and cool music. The game is more linear than other games in the series and focuses mostly on simple sidescrolling and less on the platforming elements that made the original NES trilogy notorious in some circles. This game exhibits some strange sound characteristics when played on a Game Gear using headphones. Enjoy.
