Superstar Road is the last World in New Super Mario Bros. U and serves as the traditional set of brutal post-game stages. We begin with Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster, not to be confused with Thrilling Spine Coaster from Rock-Candy Mines. The Bone Coasters from New Super Mario Bros. Wii turned out to be very popular, so we're getting TWO stages.
This one being the sequel stage, despite the Acorn Plains motif, is significantly harder than Thrilling Spine Coaster. Usually, Bone Coaster stages are not that difficult, but they are in a Giant Fuzzy infestation! Even more so with Mini Mario's slow, floaty jumps! This took many, many tries to get right, and I was doubting if I could even finish the Superstar Road stages during this mini run.
By the way, to get Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster when you enter Superstar Road, obtain every Star Coin in Acorn Plains.
