Not sure if this is called unlawful justice, but I'm sure that action and thrill is coming here in Nun Attack. Run & Gun. The focus is to control this nun running the far reaches of the underworld. Your mission is to survive for as long as possible. Use your gun to shoot evil monsters and undead creatures like werewolves, skeletons, giant bats, and even vampires. Collect the gold coins so you can use them in the shop to enhance the power-ups found in the platforms. Aside from power-ups, you can also unlock and buy new nuns and priests to slay the evil.

Ok, so it's probably incredibly blasphemous, and it could very well be violating some mysterious set of commandments on the third block of stone that Mel Brooks dropped in History of the World, but it cannot be denied that Nun Attack: Run & Gun is an incredibly fun game.

At first, you'd think to yourself, "Nun Attack? What kind of game is that? Are nun attacking me? Do I use a pack of rabid nuns to charge at another equally pack of rabid nuns? What is it?" Well, truth is, none of the above. The game is part of the endless running genre, but rather than running forwards in first person perspective, you're doing a side-scrolling run across a typical platformer landscape. It features baddies, bonuses, barricades, and all sorts of other things that would probably work well with the established alliteration.

The graphics of the game are surprisingly well done for something that is pretty silly. Being a phone and tablet game, it's probably best to play the game on something with a larger screen so that you can really enjoy the eye-popping graphics. Everything is stylish, sleek, elegant, and elaborate. What's more, the animations are smooth and polished, making for a something that's quite a beauty to behold.

More than the graphics though, you've got great music in the game. The music ranges from something that would feel right at home on the next Shaft movie (one can only hope) to maybe something straight out of a 007 flick, and it's just as classy as either of them. In addition to that, you've got killer sound effects that are so good it's almost a shame to not play them on speakers better than a typical smartphone's speakers. Still, either way, both the music and the sound effects really add a lot to the game for an amazing aesthetic.

The controls are fairly simple, and everything is activated with a few taps of your finger. You can jump, crouch and slide, and of course, fire your gun. It can get pretty frantic as the game moves on though, and obstacles will get in your way pretty quickly necessitating some really quick fingers and some killer reflexes at times. When vampires are shooting at you, spiked walls are looming in the distance, and werewolves are ready to pounce, you've got to hope that your nun-skills are top notch.

As you progress, you'll be able to unlock a bunch of different nuns. These range from a Bond-villainess-esque type (complete with eye-patch!), to a matronly giant of a nun, and all sorts of other nuns. They've each got their own special weaponry along with advantages and disadvantages, but that's up to you to play through to discover. It's a great deal of fun playing with any of them, so a whole lot of the fun is in the discovery and experimentation.

Well, that's about it for this blasphemous little text. Time for you to go on out and go old testament on the bad guys with Nun Attack: Run & Gun, enjoy!
