In stark contrast to the rusting skin atop it, Armacham’s Auburn facility is a black site laboratory harboring the company’s darkest secrets. Aristide had tried to liquidate and reappropriate the area for her employer, though the numerous phone messages and laptops indicate how severe a failure that was. Try as she might to clean the slate, there are just some substances that can’t be erased. Of course, being inculcated with the borderline delusional positivity of a white-collar control freak, that’s just an impediment to circumvent.

Indeed, deep within this dragon’s cave of knowledge are those looking to smelt its gold. Mapes, against all odds, has managed to worm his way into the facility for the sake of incinerating incriminations. With a squad of mercenaries at his side to offer support against any resistance within, it’s obvious Armacham is terrified they’re on the precipice of getting caught with a smoking gun. With that in mind, you must get to those laptops, siphon the data to Betters, and break through their defenses to get to Harlan.

Of course, both men of interest have been pinpointed lurking around near the entrance to what Armacham ominously calls “The Vault”. A foreboding, clinical coffin of cold steel and indescribable menace. With Harlan venturing further in after unceremoniously shooting Mapes, the onus lies on you to reenergize the terminal to break it open once more. Needless to say, in between electrical rerouting and eliminating Fettel’s best Replicas, you’re about to find the grotesque reasons behind ATC’s cagey conduct. Something Mapes, whether fortunately or premeditatedly, had to know would forever obliterate his employer’s reputation.
