We never worried too much about faction politics. We always took more of a laissez-faire approach - if you're not in our faction, you are fair game. And so, when Savagery decided to stop giving us good PK, we simply decided to find PK elsewhere. Stoners, Haxers, Saintz, it is all fair game to us. We didn't die fighting against Savagery, so now we are the ones that must be fought against. But at the end of the day, this is a game. PK doesn't mean hate. We have rivals, not enemies. And even if our allegiances are different, we can still be friends when all is said and done. Well, most of the times anyway.

However, to contrast that, the concept of gear swap scripting is a pretty controversial topic. Most dislike it, some find it game breaking, or even immoral and unethical. And I too share this opinion. I believe that Perfect World is much better off without scripting. That is why we have always tried to avoid scripting when possible. Yet, the advantages that scripting provides is undeniable. It is the equivalence of giving a Psychic's Black and White Voodoo to every class. When your opponent is scripting, then you really also need to be scripting for the fight to be anywhere close to fair.

And it is for that reason, that I've found myself to now also be scripting. This does not mean I enjoy scripting, nor does it mean I support it. But at the end of the day, if my opponents are going to script, then there really is no reason for me to continue to intentionally put myself at a disadvantage. Scripting did not manage to make me leave the game, and so I too lived long enough to become a scripter.

Nevertheless, I would like scripting to be something that enhances my gameplay. I do not intend to become someone that relies entirely on scripting. I hope that it can be something that would add on to what I am already capable of, and provide even more quality content in the future. May we continue to enjoy PK in the days to come.
