Showing the final stages of fusing the Persona that I intend to be using against the final boss, as well as some of the bosses before this.
Now, some longterm planning was involved in making the decisions seen in this video. First of all, as hard as morphed Vorpal Blade hits most of the Tartarus bosses (I suppose I could've started abusing it even earlier than I did), it's a bad idea to rely on it against Nyx, and there are three main reasons for that - 1. no Great condition possible, 2. Nyx cannot be knocked down for extra strikes, 3. physical attacks reduce current HP, which makes the MC more susceptible to being KO'd by the boss.
So what this build does is prepare the MC to be a good character for dealing damage against Nyx (hopefully the damage will compete with Megido gems while saving them up for the rest of my characters to use), while also allowing her to function as a support character with most of the game's skills available to her through morphing and inheritance and letting her take attacks and not die, since if she does then it's game over.
I pass the following five skills:
Sharp Student
Ice Amp
Marakukaja
Masukukaja
Megidolaon
Megidolaon is just a temporary skill against the next Tartarus bosses we're fighting, to be replaced by Mediarahan for the final boss. Since I didn't train Junpei, the MC is the only one who will have Marakukaja access, and Masukukaja could also turn out to be a very useful skill. Sharp Student is to reduce of being critted. Ice Amp because Bufudyne is a card, and so is Jack Frost's Ice Boost, so I can have the maximum elemental damage going.
The reason for choosing Taraka is that it's a high-levelled Persona without a weakness, as taking care of Akihiko's and Aigis's ice and electric weaknesses will be troublesome enough. It's also got good all-around stats and, though its luck is subpar, every single stat boosting card in the game also gives a boost to luck so the stat should be high anyway.
I know it's a little underwhelming to see Taraka declared the 'Final Persona' but that's what happens when one is playing an LLG.
This was done immediately after beating Chidori with the MC getting to L39 and receiving access to Masukukaja through fusion without necessitating morphing, so that I could start arcade-grinding immediately, focusing on magic and speed stats at the arcade while capping Jikokuten's strength since Vorpal Blade is still incredible to have in Tartarus most of the time.
I show what the skills of the Personae during the triangle fusion look like. I employ noise skill cards to ensure that there's a 100% chance that I inherit the exact five skills I want.
