I started this segment of with catching a Bibarel, the perfect HM Slave. With the Net Ball I picked up in Eterna Forest, this is an easy catch. Finding it was more problematic to me. Then I entered Soleceon Town and picked up a PP-Up. The Soleceon Ruins are optional, but the HM Defog is here. This makes a later segment a lot easier, so I decided to pick this up together with a Nugget.
I dodged some other trainers on Route 210 and bought a dozen Moo Moo Milks because they're cheap and Grotle has about 100 HP anyways. They are 3 required battles in the next route. One trainer has an annoying Bronzor and Shieldon. I need a Curse to 2HKO both and Shieldon can use Iron Defense. I dodged a Black Belt and picked up an Iron and Full Heal.
The next 2 battles can be tough. I fought the girl first and 2 of her Pokémon are easily defeated. The next one, a Lickitung with both Supersonic and Defense Curl can be problematic. The guy is a lot harder. In need to set up 2 Cursus during the battle with Gligar so I can OHKO Drifblim. Gligar's Screech is annoying and can make Drifblim a lot harder, especially with the Aftermatch ability. Buizel is easy to beat and then I splitted the segment up before entering Veilstone City.
