I have decided to record my Elite Four battles in Shining Pearl, just so that I can show what my final team is when playing through that. This video should go up after my Elite Four and Champion battles in my Brilliant Diamond Playthrough, I have the links for both of them.
Here is the one where I battle the Elite Four in Brilliant Diamond.

This is the video where I battle against the Champion in Brilliant Diamond.

As with my final team, Torterra is my starter, Mismagius and Drapion were planned for my team, I chose to use Mismagius because it was exclusive to Shining Pearl, and the rest I had to look up team builder to see what rounded up my team, I did consider Magnezone or Gallade as options, but I ended up going with Machamp and Togekiss in the end, and as with Milotic, I originally was going to use Octillery for my Water-type, but I went with Milotic as it can take hits better.
I won't be going over their movesets like in Brilliant Diamond, but I could go over the differences between this game and the originals.
Starting with Aaron, some of the moves are identical to what he had in the originals, his Dustox knew Double Team, and his Beautifly did not have Quiver Dance, as that didn't exist at the time, his Heracross had Megahorn and Stone Edge, and it didn't have the Guts and Flame Orb set it has in this game. Vespiquen had all three of the order moves, but Heal Order is not in this game, and it knew Power Gem, in this game, it has Acrobatics and Aerial Ace so it has a Flying-type STAB move, and his Drapion has Sniper and some critical hit moves, it knew Ice Fang in the original games to give it coverage against Ground-type Pokémon, and it did not have Night Slash.
Next is Bertha, and in the original games, you can easily take out her team with a Grass-type if you had one, and Sturdy did not act as a Focus Sash in the original games, so you can one-shot Golem with a Water or Grass-type move. Quagsire did not have any way of damaging Flying-type Pokémon, as its only damaging move was Dig, and in the original games, the Elite Four did not save their signature Pokémon for last, so Bertha would send out Hippowdon as her second Pokémon, and Sand Stream would create permanent sandstorm, and this gave her Golem and Sudowoodo a 50% boost to their Special Defense. Sudowoodo had Earthquake in the original games, which it doesn't in this game, and her Whiscash was a Physical Attacker which had Fissure for its Ground-type move, and Hippowdon did not have Ice Fang, it knew Curse and Stone Edge in the original games.
Next up is Flint and his infamous team of having only two Fire-type Pokémon because that was how many Pokémon there are in the Sinnoh Dex. Some of Flint's Pokémon, like Rapidash, Steelix, and Lopunny knew Sunny Day, none of Flint's Pokémon in this game know Sunny Day, and his Rapidash had Solar Beam. His Steelix has Sheer Force and moves like Fire Fang and Thunder Fang, in the originals, it knew Screech and Rock Tomb, and his Drifblim did have an attacking move in Ominous Wind, and it does have the Double Team and Baton Pass strategy, and Lopunny had Charm, and his Infernape had Earthquake instead of Close Combat, and Flare Blitz instead of Fire Punch.
The four member is Lucian, a Psychic-type user, his Mr. Mime would set up screens, and it had Thunderbolt instead of Dazzling Gleam, this was because the Fairy-type was not introduced at the time the original games released, so Mr. Mime was just a Psychic-type. Girafarig had Shadow Ball and Crunch, his Medicham did have all the Elemental Punches and Drain Punch, his Alakazam had wide coverage, it knew Energy Ball and Focus Blast instead of Nasty Plot and Shock Wave, and his Bronzong took neutral damage to Dark and Ghost-type moves, and it had Calm Mind and Psychic, none of Lucian's Pokémon in the original games had Trick Room, but in this game, his Girafarig and Bronzong know that move.
Then for the Champion fight with Cynthia, in the original games, her Spiritomb did not have a weakness, and it had Silver Wind instead of Psychic, Roserade had Extrasensory instead of Dazzling Gleam. Gastrodon had Muddy Water and Stone Edge instead of Scald and Rock Tomb, Lucario had Earthquake and Psychic instead of Flash Cannon and Nasty Plot, and her Milotic had Aqua Ring instead of Recover, and it didn't have that Flame Orb back then. As for Garchomp, in the original games, it had Dragon Rush instead of Dragon Claw, and it knew Giga Impact, which prevented Garchomp from attacking if it used that move, in this game, it knows Poison Jab and Swords Dance, making it one of the most dangerous Pokémon in the game, and making this possibly the hardest Champion fight in the entire Pokémon series. Another thing in the original games was that the Elite Four had a Sitrus Berry equipped to their signature Pokémon, and they didn't have EV Trained Pokémon like in this game.
