Some of you may be wondering regarding the recent lack of activity on this channel, as it's been exactly two weeks since my last upload. Aside from the usual reasons of being too busy and too tired to keep putting out new videos, a lot of my free time has been going into playing Persona 5, which was the reason I purchased a PS4. Been really enjoying the game so far.

I haven't yet tried to look into the options of recording PS4 gameplay - supposedly, there's a Share feature (no clue how it is used to help with uploading videos), which Persona 5 happens to disable, and there's that whole problem of Atlus threatening to strike accounts for uploading videos past 7/7, which would obviously be a bit of a nuisance for this niche account which has never tried to profit from any of the videos in the 9 years of its existence. Either way, I should look into possibly doing some PS4 challenges sometime in the future. I still have the TV tuner / capture card I bought 10 years ago to record PS2 footage lying around, but I don't know if that would work on PS4 (which is something of a culture shock for me as the last home console I own is a PS2, with all the online features and whatnot).

I wondered if the second fight against Lusamine would be any different from the first. There isn't any noticeable level gap between her Pokemon and ours any longer this time, and we've been able to capture some new Pokemon with appropriate typing and stats, but at the same time all of the mons now get a mini-Totem boost to a single stat, the stat being different for each Pokemon. The poor coverage is as much of a problem as before, with Lilligant unable to attack mons with Sap Sipper and Bewear unable to hurt ghosts, Milotic still relying on Flail to hit anybody who absorbs water-type moves.

The bulky Clefable has a sp. def buff at the start of the fight so sending in Gengar again would be an act of folly. Alolan Dugtrio has Iron Head and 2HKOs easily even if Clefable tries to use Cosmic Power. It can't do much in return with Moonblast as its only reliable offensive move.

No more Paras shenanigans happen when I face Milotic however - it's got a +1 atk boost, making Flail more dangerous, as well as Recover to heal off damage from Toxic, so I decide to OHKO Milotic instead. Alolan Exeggutor is 4x resistant to water and while its special defence is on the low side we have sufficient time to set up Light Screen (also useful in the next matchup), then boost attack with Swords Dance and finally OHKO with Wood Hammer.

Bewear is once again helpless against Gengar, or any other ghost. Psychic 3HKOs in spite of Pain Split getting in the way.

Mismagius is, just like last time, the toughest Pokemon to face. It's got a + spd buff, so outspeeding it would be tough even if we tried to paralyse it like we did in the first battle. But because I have a Light Screen up, I can afford to switch in my Honchkrow and take a super-effective Power Gem hit. The AI seems to prefer to use Pain Split here for whatever goofy reasons, as was pointed out in the comment section of the first Lusamine battle. But either way, Honchkrow would've survived Power Gem and OHKO'd with Payback. The bird is a good contender to be taken to the E4 section of the challenge.

Lilligant is the last mon to face, and the sp. atk. buff gives it such power that Petal Dance puts a dent into our Golbat in spite of it resisting the move doubly. I hope that turns are wasted in vain by setting status on my Golbat, and use a Toxic + Venoshock strat to deal damage, so even if I'm screwed over by status, Toxic can still help me deal damage.

Kinda underwhelming for the final villain battle I suppose? If we compare it to past games, Cyrus and Ghetsis may have posed more of a challenge, but if we think about every single villain battle a lot of them have been easy for a 0 exp playthrough, really, so this is no exception.
