My opponent has a team with mostly Legendary Pokémon, and I was surprised to see him have Turtonator of all Pokémon on a team with Legendary Pokémon, but then again he did have Dragapult, which isn't even a Legendary Pokémon, but at least it is a Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon.
While the strategy with Shell Smash is good, Turtonator is very slow, and even at +2 Speed, my Volcarona and Cinderace can even outspeed her, and I have even checked possible sets, and one notable Turtonator set is a defensive set with Iron Defense and Body Press, as well as two new Tutor moves, Burning Jealousy and Scorching Sands, Burning Jealousy is a Special Attack with 70 power that burns targets that have increased their stats during that turn, and it hits both targets in a Double Battle, so it can be a useful move on slower Pokémon.
I test out Skarmory, which does have the Iron Defense and Body Press combo, and he does have a Rocky Helmet, which goes very well for a Physical wall, and as my opponent had Zacian in the fight, which is a terrifyingly powerful Physical attacker, it was good that I picked Skarmory for that fight. He did also have Zekrom, and while I don't see too many Legendary Pokémon from past games online, I have seen a good amount of Zekrom users, but not as common as Zacian or any of the more powerful Legendary Pokémon.
This is the first fight in which I use Volcarona, I have equipped her with the Heavy-Duty Boots to prevent any damage from entry hazards like Stealth Rock, and she does have the signature Quiver Dance set, and Fiery Dance is a good move, as that has a chance of boosting Volcarona's Special Attack stat after use, so at least it is a good move to have instead of the more powerful Flamethrower or Fire Blast.
