For this week's Surprise Trades, I will be trading Eiscue, this Pokémon is exclusive to Pokémon Shield and it is a very rare Pokémon, so at least this Pokémon can be good for those that want to fill their Pokédex.
Like with the other Surprise Trades, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4-5 stats, and some Egg Moves, and these Eiscue have a Jolly Nature, while it is a gimmicky Pokémon, it can be good if you know how to use it. For Egg Moves, I went with Soak, Belly Drum, Head Smash, and Icicle Crash, Eiscue can also get Aqua Ring and Double-Edge as well.
I will list which parents from the Water 1 & Field Egg Groups that can learn those moves.
Aqua Ring: Vaporeon, Marill, Azumarill, Corsola, Mantine, Milotic, Tympole, Palpitoad, Seismitoad, Dewpider, Araquanid
Belly Drum: Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath, Politoed, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Darumaka, G-Darumaka Darmanitan, G-Darmanitan
Double-Edge: Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath, Tauros, Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Marill, Azumarill, Politoed, Espeon, Umbreon, Dunsparce, Zigzagoon, G-Zigzagoon, Linoone, G-Linoone, Hippopotas, Hippowdon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Stufful, Bewear, Passimian, Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace, Wooloo, Dubwool, Obstagoon
Head Smash: Scraggy, Scrafty, Drednaw
Icicle Crash: A-Sandslash, G-Darmanitan, Beartic
Soak: Psyduck, Golduck, Remoraid, Octillery, Pelipper, Wailord, Dewpider, Araquanid, Pyukumuku, Sobble, Drizzile, Inteleon

A good variety of Egg Moves, and out of these, Belly Drum and Icicle Crash are good moves to have on Eiscue, and while it is a gimmicky Pokémon, the main reason behind its gimmick is its Ice Face Ability, when Eiscue is hit by a Physical Attack, it changes to its Noice Face, which sacrifices its defenses for extra Speed, and when setting up Hail, Eiscue can regain its Ice Face.
Then for its level up moves, it can learn Weather Ball, Icy Wind, Headbutt, Amnesia, Freeze-Dry, Hail, Aurora Veil, Surf, and Blizzard.
Then onto Eiscue's TM and TR movepool, for TMs, it can learn Ice Punch, Reflect, Whirlpool, Dive, Icicle Spear, Avalanche, and Brine, and for TRs, it can learn Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Agility, Reversal, Substitute, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, and Liquidation, so a good selection of moves, and Eiscue is more of a Physical Attacker.
Then for the competitive scene, and while I did believe that Eiscue would be a top-tier attacker, I have checked Smogon, and Eiscue is a low tier Pokémon, it has seen use in the higher tiers, but it's not a top tier Pokémon. In Single Battles, the main reason to use Eiscue is Belly Drum, and with its Ice Face, it can take a Physical Attack without taking any damage and change to its Noice Face, which will give Eiscue a good boost in Speed, allowing it to sweep opponents as much as it can, it's nowhere as overpowered as Azumarill as a Belly Drum user. For some good Physical Attacks, Eiscue has Icicle Spear, Liquidation, and Zen Headbutt for some powerful moves, and when Dynamaxed, Eiscue can use Max Hailstorm to activate Hail and regain its Ice Face, this can be a handy strategy, I feel that Eiscue is a Pokémon that is made to work in Hail teams, but it is a gimmicky Pokémon, Sitrus Berry or Rocky Helmet are good items for it, or you could go with Salac Berry and use the Substitute and Belly Drum combo, that will ensure that it will be faster than about anything in battle, Head Smash and Iron Head are alternatives, specially Iron Head for Max Steelspike.
In Double Battles, Eiscue isn't really the best Pokémon to go with, specially when Lapras is the best Ice-type in Double Battles because of its Gigantamax form, and while Vanilluxe and Alolan Ninetales are your Hail setters with Snow Warning, there are some better options for Hail teams, like Alolan Sandslash, which gets Slush Rush, and Alolan Ninetales can learn Aurora Veil to support its team, so Eiscue doesn't have that much viability in Double Battles.
As far as Physical Attackers go for the competitive scene, while you have some powerful Ice-type attackers like Mamoswine and Galarian Darmanitan, Eiscue is a Pokémon with some gimmicks, and with the right play, it can be a good Pokémon if you know how to use it.
