The fourth Super Smash Bros. game gets its themed Tourney, this is Free Four All, this one is themed around Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U and characters that made their Smash debut in those games can be used, as well as the stages from both the 3DS and Wii U versions. There is also a large number of items for this one, and those are ones that appeared in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS. I do wonder if they will have a themed Tourney around Super Smash Bros. Ultimate newcomers, because not counting DLC, this game only got 4 new stages and 11 newcomers.
Here are the following SSB4 characters that can be selected for this Tourney:
Lucina, Dark Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma, Little Mac, Greninja, Palutena, Pac-Man, Robin, Shulk, Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt Duo, Ryu, Cloud, Corrin, Bayonetta, Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter, Mii Gunner
Then we have the following stages which first appeared in SSB4 that can appear in this Tourney:
3D Land, Golden Plains, Paper Mario, Gerudo Valley, Spirit Train, Dream Land GB, Unova Pokémon League, Prism Tower, Mute City SNES, Magicant, Arena Ferox, Reset Bomb Forest, Tortimer Island, Balloon Fight, Living Room, StreetPass Quest/Find Mii, Tomodachi Life, PictoChat 2, Mushroom Kingdom U, Mario Galaxy, Mario Circuit, Skyloft, The Great Cave Offensive, Kalos Pokémon League, Coliseum, Flat Zone X, Palutena's Temple, Gamer, Garden of Hope, Town and City, Wii Fit Studio, Boxing Ring, Gaur Plain, Duck Hunt, Wrecking Crew, Pilotwings, Wuhu Island, Windy Hill Zone, Wily Castle, Pac-Land, Super Mario Maker, Suzaku Castle, Midgar, Umbra Clock Tower
Now onto the items that appeared in SSB4 that can appear in this Tourney:
Smash Ball, Assist Trophy, Poké Ball, Master Ball, Container, Blast Box, Sandbag, Food, Maxim Tomato, Heart Container, Fairy Bottle, Super Mushroom, Poison Mushroom, Super Star, Warp Star, Metal Box, Bunny Hood, Superspicy Curry, Timer, Lightning, Bullet Bill, Beam Sword, Star Rod, Home-Run Bat, Hammer, Golden Hammer, Lip's Stick, Fire Bar, Ore Club, Ray Gun, Fire Flower, Super Scope, Gust Bellows, Steel Diver, Drill, Bob-omb, Motion-Sensor Bomb, Green Shell, Bumper, Freezie, Mr. Saturn, Gooey Bomb, Smart Bomb, Deku Nut, Smoke Ball, Pitfall, Hothead, Banana Peel, Unira, Soccer Ball, Bombchu, X Bomb, Hocotate Bomb, POW Block, Spiny Shell, Boomerang, Beetle, Cucco, Beehive, Killer Eye, Boss Galaga, Franklin Badge, Back Shield, Super Leaf, Rocket Belt, Special Flag

That is a large amount of stages and items, and I was expecting to get over 16 or 32 players to make the best use of this Tourney, but every time I enter, I always seem to get 8 players, which feels underwhelming for a Tourney with a large amount of characters, stages, and items, and I don't understand how even most players get 32 players in their Online Tourney matches.
Like usual, you earn a Spirit based on your placement in this Tourney, and I have played this one many times, and in one battle, Palutena's Temple appeared, so this does prove that large stages can appear in Online Tourney, because I remember there was one where it restricted large stages in a series-based Tourney, which I don't understand and there wasn't any reason to do so.
With a large cast of newcomers from Super Smash Bros. 4, I went with Greninja for this one, and in one Tourney, there was a lot of Greninja players, my starting bracket had two other Greninja players, and after participating many times, I decided to go with this one, because it had good character variety between players, so there wasn't too many repeating characters.
The stages that appeared for this Tourney were Paper Mario and Windy Hill Zone, some good choices for stages out of how many they added into Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U, and even if it wasn't the best Smash game to many fans, I did like how different things were between 3DS and Wii U.
Music Played for Each Match:
Paper Mario: Battle! - Paper Mario: Color Splash
Windy Hill Zone: Sunset Heights
