Pokémon Sword & Shield have been out for two years, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl are out now, and in the timing of those games being released, we get a Wild Area Event, this one is focused on Eevee and all of its evolved forms, I named it Eeveelution Event, but on Serebii.net, which is what I use for information, it is called Eevee and Friends, it is live from November 19th till November 28th, and there is a very rare chance of finding a guaranteed Shiny Eevee, and you can even find Gigantamax Eevee in the event, the Shiny Eevee will not be in its Gigantamax Form.
Time to go over each of the Pokémon in the event, and starting things off is Eevee, its Gigantamax Form can use G-Max Cuddle, which comes from its Normal-type moves, this will infatuate targets that are the opposite gender to Eevee. Its Hidden Ability is Anticipation, and some Eeveelutions have good Hidden Abilities, I will go over each of them one by one.
I will be going by Pokédex order, so the first one is Vaporeon, its Hidden Ability is Hydration, while nice in rain teams, I prefer Water Absorb, so that way Vaporeon can switch in on a Water-type move. It has HP for its highest stat, and it can work well with a bunch of moves, like Scald, Wish, Haze, Acid Armor, Yawn, and many others. It does have a decent Special Attack stat to make use of moves like Ice Beam or Shadow Ball, but all you will really need is Scald and Ice Beam, Yawn and Wish fill in the last slots, or you could go with Haze for a way to reset all stat modifications, specially when your opponent has some Dynamax boosts.
Then the Electric-type Jolteon, its Hidden Ability is Quick Feet, but I wouldn't say it's the most ideal Ability, as Jolteon is already fast to begin with, and Volt Absorb does allow it to switch in on Electric-type moves. Its movepool is very limited, Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball fill in well, it can use Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, and Rising Voltage for some possible moves, it faces competition with many better Electric-type Pokémon.
The next one is Flareon, its Hidden Ability is Guts, but it can only make use of it with the Toxic Orb. Guts is a nice Ability, because with that, Flareon can deal some huge damage with moves like Flare Blitz, Superpower, and Facade. Outside of its high Attack stat, Flareon does have a decent Special Defense stat, its low Speed is a drawback to Flareon, and it doesn't have a high HP stat to put Flare Blitz and the Toxic Orb to use.
Then the Psychic-type Espeon, it has good Special Attack and Speed, and its Hidden Ability is Magic Bounce, this is a good Ability as you can send back status moves like Stealth Rock, Spikes, Taunt, and many others back to your opponent. With a high Special Attack stat, Espeon can put to use moves like Psychic, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, and Grass Knot, and it can use Calm Mind to boost its Special Attack, or you can give it Trick and a Choice Specs to screw your opponent. Espeon can even use defensive sets, like setting up Reflect and Light Screen to support its teammates, and it can use Morning Sun as a way to heal itself.
Umbreon's Hidden Ability is Inner Focus, while nice for preventing flinches from Fake Out or blocking Intimidate in Double Battles, I prefer Synchronize, so if Umbreon is inflicted with a status condition, that can be sent back to the opponent. Umbreon is the more defensive out of the Eeveelutions, it can use Wish, Yawn, Moonlight, Mean Look, Screech, Baton Pass, Taunt, and many other moves, and it can use Foul Play for a damage dealing move so that way Umbreon has a way to deal damage if it is affected by Taunt.
Leafeon's Hidden Ability is Chlorophyll, this makes it an excellent sweeper in the sun, as it has good Attack and Speed for stats, its best stat is Defense, so this does give Leafeon enough resilience against Physical attacks, even though Grass is not the best defensive type with about five weaknesses. Leafeon does appreciate sun support from Ninetales or Torkoal with Drought, and it does get some good moves like Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Iron Tail, Solar Blade, and many other moves, and it can use Swords Dance to boost its Attack, allowing Leafeon to sweep in the sun.
Next is the Ice-type Glaceon, its Hidden Ability is Ice Body, and while it does allow it to heal in hail, Ice is considered the worse defensive type, and it has Snow Cloak for its regular Ability to boost its evasion in hail. For moves, it can get Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, and Freeze-Dry, and that is all it can put to use.
Then Sylveon, its Hidden Ability is Pixilate, making its Normal-type moves become Fairy-type moves, and it can put Hyper Voice to use with Pixilate. It does get some other nice coverage moves like Psyshock and Mystical Fire, and some other notable moves like Draining Kiss and Calm Mind, Sylveon has nice versatility in battle with its Fairy-type and good Special Defense and Special Attack.
