Bit.Trip Runner is a 2.5D autoscrolling platformer developed by Gaijin Games and published by Gaijin\Aksys Games for the Nintendo Wii (2010) and 3DS (2011), Windows, Macintosh, and Linux (2011), and most recently the Nintendo Switch (2020). In the game, players control Commander Video as he collects gold, avoids obstacles, and makes it to the end of the level for the highest score, all while grooving to fun soundtrack. The game contains 3 worlds of 11 levels and a boss fight. Graphically speaking the game is quite good looking, with a strong mix of pixel art and low-poly 3D objects that blend well together. Likewise, The music is really good, although there is a limited selection of tracks. Overall, Bit.Trip Runner is a pretty solid entry in a series that feels more like minigames. The Game is still available on Steam for those curious, and it has spawned an official series, including Bit.Trip Runner 2, and... Bubsy: Paws on Fire.... sigh
