Your freedom is just a few steps away. But these steps won’t be an easy one in this thrilling mobile game called RunBot. The aim in this game is to run on top of the buildings and platforms by controlling this robotic character. You need to stay alive for as long as possible to accumulate the highest score in one single run. And aside from running, you will also experience diving from high buildings and avoid crashing onto the pipes. Try to pick up the capsules to keep your energy gauge full. If you run out of energy or crash, the game ends.

Overview

Runbot is and endless runner rendered in 3D graphics, you will be in control of robotic weapon that has rejected its protocol and is running for freedom, you can jump or slide to evade or dodge obstacles, shoot enemies and collect battery packs to last longer, or if you have enough, you can even trade those batteries to upgrade the robot, and make the game easier.

Graphics and Sound

Graphics is 3D and quite stunning, the environments are fabulous, even the movements are so realistic, in game music is techno style with the occasional police chatter in the background, this game is very pretty indeed.

Gameplay

Gameplay is quite addictive, the game offers parkour like moves and easy controls, you only need to swipe up to jump, swipe down to slide, swipe left to go left and swipe right to go right, but the game isn't only about running, you also need to fly, when flying you only need to tilt the device to guide the runbot and dodge the obstacles, shoot the enemies as you see them, there are a lot of upgrades for the robot, but the robot runs on limited energy so you need to constantly collect batteries to power it up, no worries though, there are more than what you will actually need in the game, just don't miss too many of them and your runbot will be just fine, all in all, this game is really so much fun to play.

Features

Runbot offers stunning graphics and parkour like moves, there are cool upgrades for the robot too, and tilt and touch controls for easier game play, there is also a leader board where you can post your score and compare it to your friends, see whose the top runner of all.

Conclusion

Runbot is an eye candy when it comes to graphics, the 3D rendering is fascinating, but that's not all, what I like the most in this game are the parkour like moves that you can do with the robot, i especially love it when it lands on top of the buildings and cracks the floors, sending dust and debris upwards before you make another run, but the game is not really that easy, yes it offers some upgrades but it does not really make the game a lot easier, if ever, i think the effects are minimal, the runbot doesn't seem to evolve too, no matter how many upgrades you get, no matter what enhancement you install, it still looks the same, I think the game lacks features, like weapons and upgrades, there are actually a lot of uglier endless runners out there compared to this one but game play is more fun, I think the only advantage this game has over the other games is its graphical presentation, I'm not saying the game is dull, it's just that, I feel the developers could have done more, I think they are banking too much on graphics more than the game play, I played this game for quite a while and I think it is still fun really, if only they made the runbot evolve as upgrades were installed, it could have been a lot more fun to play, but then again this is just me saying, play the game and prove me wrong, it doesn't hurt to check it out, so come on and play it, I think it is still worth checking out even if it's just for the graphics and its 3D rendering, all in all, I rate the game as above average, worth playing even just for a while.
