Put your raging game face on and let the hunt begin. Save the world from an evil enemy in this fancy mobile shooting game called Lethal Lance. Your mission here is to control this character named Lance and explore each location. Light up the post at the end of each level to complete them. You will face lots of evil critters and you can shoot them up. Always look for keys around the platforms to unlock rooms. Try to aim for perfect 3 stars in each level. Collecting all the stars will ensure 1 star, and finishing the level quickly gives another star.

Overview

Lethal Lance is a side scrolling action shooter based platform game, you will take on the character of Lance who wears a beard and a hat and you will need to blast your way out of 32 levels, you will also need to collect coins and lightning icons, each finished level will be awarded with stars, 3 stars actually, but you need to collect all the coins in the levels, not get hit all throughout the level and finish it within the given time, to get all 3 stars, which I find quite easy because the levels are quite short and the enemies doesn't really pose a threat, you can make the character move left or right, jump and shoot, all of which can be executed via the virtual buttons on your mobile device, you will be exploring 4 different worlds, you will be armed with a shot gun in which you can use to shoot your way out of any danger, or you can just jump on top of your enemies to eliminate them, Lance also has a health gauge with three hearts, you can take multiple hits before dying, except of course, when the character falls into the water, Lance can't swim so this will result in instant death.

Graphics and Sound

Graphics are fairly decent, the game looks crisp and sharp, all the 4 worlds have very nice designs but animation is somewhat average, the in game music is cool though, it actually makes the game less boring and entices you to play the game longer.

Gameplay

This game is very easy to play, there are only a few movements for the character, just run and jump and shoot, the first levels are short but it gets a bit longer later on but they are still quite short, the entire game can be beaten in an hour or so if you're really into this kind of game, I also noticed that the only difference in the four worlds are the designs, everything is practically similar, from the tasks to perform to the behavior of the enemies, the enemies can be eliminated by shooting at them and jumping on top of them, but I prefer shooting at them, from a distance of course, it is safer this way, you can easily get three stars in all the levels if you play it safe, overall, this game would be very easy for hard core players.

Lethal Lance features simple game play, it has 32 levels that spans across four worlds, the morgan forest, the frozen den, deathlands and flames of ra, the game has very short levels and very simple tasks, thus the game really is very simple and easy to beat.

Conclusion

When I played this game, I actually find it quite fun despite of its short comings, maybe because it is very simple and it doesn't stress you out, I actually played cooler games but I wasn't able to finish them because the level of difficulty is to high and I eventually got frustrated and opted out of it, I feel like if the game is too hard, the fun factor is lost and it eventually makes the game dull, but this game with its simple offerings made me play it through, I think the game is cool as it is but an improvement would be nice here, short levels are cool, but there are only 32 levels in this game, I feel there should be at least over a hundred considering the game is very simple and easy, all in all, I still consider this game cool and fun, check it out and find out for yourself, you won't regret it.
