This is the first Enhanced Boss that wasn't completely annoying to fight.

The Kraken itself is very easy to prepare for. The boss specializes in direct attacks and SHK, and can only hit FIR, NTR and PHYS so if your tanks have high affinity for all three, and they have resistance to PSN and SHK, then this boss can't threaten your tanks at all. Attackers are generally safe too, but they will need to pack some SHK resistance (otherwise their turns may get delayed by Row Attack). There's also the random chance of it randomly targeting Slot 3 or 4 but that doesn't happen too often.

Once again, the physical bulk of the SDM synergy was very helpful here. Now, because the boss lacks group attacks, it was very easy to bring in a squishy character like Flandre. She technically can't hit any weak elements (unless you stick to normal Attack) but with the full SDM boost and the best ATK-boosting equipment, Flandre can brute force her way through this fight. Note: to get the highest possible damage, I had to give Flandre a Tome of Accuracy (so that I could use Experimental MIRV). I personally recommend doing this anyway, Flandre's one of the more useful characters to boost. Even if you don't plan to use her for bosses, she's not bad for certain dungeon segments. Anyway, the final strategy really is as simple as "buff Flandre, debuff the boss, hit boss, swap out Flandre during Octangle Attack, repeat"
