Session 9: The Underworld (Final Fantasy Legend III)
0The Armlet is the most broken item in an RPG, ever! Not only does it instantly kill almost any enemy in the game, but it's infinate use! Suddenly, most of the challenge of this game has been removed. And you know what? I don't care. Mwa-ha-ha-ha!
Anyway, we go into the underworld in this session. It's been a long time since I've last played this game. Could've sworn there was an actual world down here. Instead it seems to be an oversized dungeon, with a couple dungeons within. Half the underworld is just empty space. And it's rather annoying that the one town in the underworld has no inn, but does have random encounters. As a result, the underworld felt like it just kinda dragged on.
That said, the warp in the Twin Towers has one of the coolest effects I've seen on a Game Boy game.
