Hideous Destructor Multiplayer | Heroes | Outnumbered & Outgunned
So the squad decided to take a break from D2 HDest to give D1 HDest some love. Some of the players in the Discord server has played Heroes before, so why not try it out in MP? Also, once again I speak, a pretty good day I'd say.
Not really a big fan of Heroes, being a compilation pwad, a lot of the maps are actually nicked from other sources. Doesn't help that the level design itself is actually quite ancient and would often lead into things like inconsistent texture usage territory. Only thing missing from the things I've seen are mandatory secrets, and from the reviews I read, they're not that far behind.
The last map in this session was what kicked it for us, a lot of enemy spawns when backtracking leading to a lot of resurrects. We did try to keep going after the recording ended, but once again, it didn't get far. Not an extremely HDest friendly mapset.
