Some first impressions for the business simulator/tycoon game Software Inc., from Coredumping. In this game, you play the role of the tireless founder of a tech start-up who begins with nothing but a garage and a dream. But through hard work, you will build your team and your company into a dominating force in the market, bolstered by excellent development practices, good human resource management, and a sterling reputation.

Software Inc. remains in Early Access, but is thoroughly playable in its current shape. My only qualms remain around some quirky staffing functionality such as the lack of proper cross-training or leadership tracking, as well as a wealth of subsystems that many users might consider a bit superfluous without some better integration with the core game loop.
