Sound it Out is a creative adventure where I look at a piece of visual art and come up with a tune on the violin on the spot to describe it. And today's subject is an ink drawing, cataloged (by the artist) "Ink Drawing #1569_Picnik" by Elke Trittel.
I could be mistaken, but from this artist's website, she mostly catalogs her works rather than naming them. However, most of times the subject of the artwork is very clear, or very clear in a way that it might not be a creature/object that exists in the world the way it is in the artwork's form, but the character that she imagines and creates it to be is very clear. Am I making sense? No? Maybe the violin-playing description makes more sense. 🤣 Ok, don't read this, just listen to the playing.
