It's tricky getting the egg count up in Big Run. A lot of it is down to the luck of the weapons. I quite like the S-Blast '92, and I think I'm getting a handle on its different ranges and blast radii when jumping. Those Stingers are splatted quickly, and I remember to jump for the Fish Finger too. We also get a nice gift from a Snatcher, flying past with a clutch of distant eggs, which all manage to find their way to the basket. A decent first wave, if nothing spectacular.

Two Grizzco Chargers and a couple of shooters for the second wave bodes well. Steelheads are easy, although they don't like to wander too close, leaving the eggs far from the basket, but we get more bosses that come our way. Everything is going smoothly, until the Fish Fingers appear. Those are tricky for a charger, so I have to leave them until a shooter splats them, and that lets ink drop down from above for a while. Thankfully, it doesn't hamper us too much, and we manage to exceed the half-tonne, and without a special wave. Nice!

Another Grizzco Charger for me in the final wave, although the Hydra Splatling could either be very useful or a hindrance. I sit back a bit, hoping for the eggs to come our way, but they are pretty slow to start with, and a Killer Wail that I hope will help with a Flyfish targets Great Zapfish knows what. The Flipper, it seems. Rather less threatening than the Flyfish, thanks, Killer Wail targeting system. The second one hits, after a lull lets my squidmates lob bombs in both bins, and bringing down a Lid is always difficult to judge with a Steel Eel winding under it. The driver wasn't close enough to get hit, so I get bit.

Never mind, we show great team work when we all ride one Lid so that we can splat another, doubling the eggs from the lift, but I am too late to stop a Snatcher from leaving with eggs. That's not terrible, as we have more lying around, just not as close. In the end, our rush to dunk eggs gets most of us splatted, leaving me to celebrate a new high score among rubber rings. Woomy!
