With the Mushroom Kingdom restored, it is time to set off for our adventure. Mallow then suggests to Mario that they visit his grandfather, but they have to go through Kero Sewers, and they have to watch out for a creature known as Belome, who is said to guard something at the end of the sewers.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Time to enter Kero Sewers, an underground waterway, and we have to watch out for Belome. The item chests have a Flower, a Super Star to clear out enemies, a Mushroom, and a Flower Tab, that one requires a trick where you have to run from the Boo and use it as a platform to get to it.
To list the enemies as it takes a lot to go over Kero Sewers, this has water that you can swim in, and you can take Warp Pipes to access different areas. The water has Cheep Cheeps, this enemy was called Goby in the SNES version, but they had their standard name in Japan, the Japanese name is Pukupuku. Cheep Cheeps attack by charging, and they are weak to Mallow's Lightning attacks, using Thunderbolt can remove them easily.
The next new enemy is Rat Funk, they have low HP that often flee from battle, and they can poison you by attacking, and there are some enemies that only appear when you fight alongside other enemies, Shadow is one them. They have a lot of HP, and they can use Endobubble, which inflicts Fear to cut your Attack and Defense in half, some enemies in Kero Sewers can drop a Pure Water, this item damages undead enemies, in this case, Boo, Shadow, and Hobgoblin are those enemies affected by it.
Hobgoblin is another enemy that appears with Rat Funk or Boo, they can inflict status ailments, Dark Claw to poison, and Elegy to inflict Mute, which prevents them from using special attacks, they are weak to Mario's Jump.
Boo is in the game, for some reason, it is called Big Boo in the SNES game, it can use Lightning Orb, a magic attack that deals damage, Bolt which is a thunder attack that hits one party member, and Scream inflicts fear. One chest turns out to be Huhwhat, a reference to a Mimic from other RPG series like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, this enemy was known as Pandorite in the SNES game, which references Pandora's Box, it has a lot of HP and is weak to Jump attacks. It knows Flame Wall and Flame, fire attacks that we have seen before because Claymorton had them. Carni-Kiss is a powerful attack that deals a lot of damage, and after defeating the Huhwhat, the treasure box will have 50 coins, you do get a lot of coins, a Flower Jar which permanently increases FP by 3, and a Trueform Pin, which protects you from status conditions that we will come across fairly soon.
After draining the water, we make it the end and find Belome, he has 500 HP and is weak to Lightning attacks, you will be using Mallow's Thunderbolt for this battle, while Mario can get in some Jump attacks. Belome can inflict a status condition called Scarecrow, which disables basic attacks, with Scarecrow Funk, it can be blocked with a Trueform Pin, you will want to equip that on Mario for this battle. After a few turns, Belome can eat Mallow, and Mario needs to attack him enough times to save him, Belome attacks by licking foes, and he can put your characters to sleep.
After the battle, we get swept away by some water, and we end up at Midas Waterfall, and I do like the music for Midas River. Midas River is named after Midas from Greek Mythology, a king who turned everything he touched into gold. In Midas Waterfall, you can collect, and when you try to swim upwards, it does go really slow, and you can enter holes, some give FP, some give coins, and there are some where you can lose coins, and this is a difficult minigame if you are trying to collect 100 coins.
After the waterfall section is the one where Mario rides on a floating barrel, and has to collect coins, and there are two lanes you can switch between by jumping to the next barrel or hitting another one, and you lose coins when you make contact with a fish. When you get to the end, a Mushroom person gives you a Koopa Shell, a new weapon for Mario, in the original SNES game, it was called NokNok Shell, as in Nokonoko which is what a Koopa Troopa is called in Japanese.
