We're back to Shadow Hearts for PlayStation 2 for Part 5 here on #SuperOldGameSaturday and, as always, TheCrochetNerd64 is here to guide us through this underrated RPG where, after gaining a new party member in Halley last time, Yuri, Alice and the gang are off to save his mother from the nearby mental hospital. From there, it's plot twist after plot twist after plot twist in this part and, since I never played this game, it completely changed everything we've seen so far in this story and in the best way possible. We also got more indications to how this game ties to 2000's Koudelka for the PlayStation (which is this game's predecessor and will be the next game in this enterprise that we play), along with all of the great input from our chat, us pushing closer to the end of the game, getting ready for showing off both the good and bad endings and going into all our thoughts on everything and especially all of our insights on this game, the latter of which I confirmed that our show is the ONLY place on the internet you'll find some of what we uncovered in this part. Yes, we're taking our role of getting Shadow Hearts and this franchise out there in terms of modern awareness seriously and, in going deep into the guts of gaming on this show with this and any other game, we came up with things about this that even die-hard fans (like TheCrochetNerd64) will appreciate as a unique look at this game.
