4...So with that out of the way about Decay, It's time to talk of another mod that I played heavily, the non sven co-op variant that is which is Azure Sheep, It was released, surprisingly well before Blue Shift released officially which is something I was not aware of. There are still some things that I don't know fully about Half-Life and it's expansion packs.
Azure Sheep puts us in control of "Just Barn", One of the generic Barney Guards who has been hired by the Black Mesa Security Team of the Black Mesa Research Facility and is assigned to work with Kate whose code name is Azure Sheep, the mod itself I find to be a all time classic but this Sven Co-Op port has some serious problems in the later half and this will be covered in Episode 11 where I quit recording as this mod tests the patience when we get to move Kate around.
Unlike the original mod, we don't have a delay when we select weapons, I had also trimmed the video as it was another poor start and would've been part of the now shelved for now Sven Co-Op Sunday SuperCuts #TheOutTakes, The walking to black mesa inbound area is a big throwback to the intro of the original Half-Life where we can actually visit the locations we saw which are expanded greatly, The m249 saw which is a iconic weapon from Opposing Force is from several maps back.
Things get pretty hectic as we confront a lot of new areas we never did see in Half-Life or it's expansion packs, cracks start to form though here as a pipe we fall through to the catwalk we first saw in Half-Life, when lost, breaks the map as people cannot reach the catwalk from a vent without specific jumping, There's an INVISIBLE Key card that cannot be seen you have to get from a cage of houndeyes in the labs segment we were dying in quite a bit and that to, is a glitch that should've been known about?
I had cut out the captured part because this part glitches so damn much where Kate can get stuck, the gman gets stuck or the door never opens which SOFTLOCKS the mod with a endless cycle of AFK kills, But this is only the beginning and Episode 11 will show the agony of dealing with Kate in this sven co-op port.
