https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/cydreams In my quest to cover Doom wads and mods sometimes I jumped into files without being prepared which yeah, that's on me and I kinda deserved it. Cyberdreams was the first time a wad ever broke me but yet now, I find it a fascinating wad for 1998 as it placed 2nd in the top 100 wads of all time for 1998, and is one of the most unique ones I've played too.

Released by the duo of Albert Valls, and Gonzalo Perez De La Ossa on April 17th 1998, Cyberdreams is a 32 level megawad with a concept unlike any other of the time where Cyberdemons are in every level and it's our job to kill them but here we do not have the weapons to do so each level requires creative ways to deal with these dangerous boss monsters, Cyberdreams is something special.

Each map has an open lot and with all that space it usually isn't that hard to avoid the rockets of cyberdemons, but in other cases RNG will burn you badly as you zig zag past them trying to telefrag, teleport, or avoid them in narrow locations or across heart stopping gaps, It's around map13 that Cyberdreams really kicks it into high gear with More than 1 cyberdemon and very complex switch puzzles followed by jack in the box movement, Post video I got to the secret map but it's left me stuck as you have to guide a voo doo doll marine to telefrag the cyberdemon.

[[Among the first 30 episodes of this series which formed Season 1, This wad was the one that at first, I hated as I wasn't making much progress, But back about 3 years ago somethings I didn't know and my movement in Doom wasn't as good, I also am learning now that Cyberdreams can break at random in source ports due to the cyberdemons in enclosed areas becoming stuck and unable to attack, And, Post video this happened twice in Map14 which was surprising and goes to show, Yeah I thought I have seen it all but clearly not]]
