The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | Joining the Legion

I found Reynel's tower. I suppose it is disturbing that if you had an enemy and they set up a new base nearby, you'd want them out. Thankfully Reynel only had some Dwemer automatons roaming around. On my way back to Vivec I stopped at the Telvanni vault just to add insult to injury. I've eliminated many Telvanni, stealing their wealth would be the cherry on top! I must admit of all the vaults to steal from, this one has to be the strangest yet.
You break into a room to find two Storm Atronach. Upon dispatching them, there is only one way out, making you think that all there is until you rebreak that door that brings you into the vault! I took what I could and left just as fast to report to Falas. She then tells me that the Hlaalu has also been expanding, this time near Balmora. I left to take down Raynasa in her newly constructed stronghold. I have been in the area before the stronghold was there, it is a shame because it was a lovely spot.
At long last, Falas tells me that I have done all the tasks she had planned for me. I went to Ald'ruhn and spoke with Athyn, who promoted me to Archmaster. With that, I felt it was finally time to go to Gnisis and join the Imperial Legion. At Fort Darius, I could not find Darius himself until the other soldiers told me he was at an inn. I made my way and spoke with Darius. He gave me the rundown of how it all works, there is a hierarchy to follow and soldiers must be in uniform at all times. I am free to use any weapon I please but I must present myself in uniform, even if my body is not conditioned to wear it.
I should take the time to learn to wear Heavy armor. Darius tells me to seek out the wife of a dead egg miner for her land deed. A felt it to be cold to someone since someone dear to them has passed but orders are orders. I spoke with Vabdas only for her to tell me that it was one of our own that killed her husband! I was shocked, to say the least, but I investigated her claim. I had visited the eggmine once only to be threatened by an Orc who is part of the legion and a ghost just... roams around.
So I plundered the mines again, seeing the Orc was still aggressive, but in the next room, the ghost spoke with me! I nearly pissed myself I was so frightened but the ghost claimed to be the late Vabdas! He tells me a story that would touch one's heart and then break it instantly. I searched the waters and found his corpse and a broken axe... Lugrub gro-Ogdum really did murder this poor miner! I had to report this to Darius before I took any further action.
Upon inspection, Darius gave me the good ahead to eliminate Lugrub and so I hacked away at him until he fell. The legion is meant to uphold the law but also lend a helping hand to those in need. Darius then gave me an odd job: heal the blighted Kwama Queen. This felt like a task better suited to those in the Imperial Cult or the temple. Of course, I can do it myself, but I could not help but wonder. A quick heal later and Darius is sending me to find a missing person that is suspected to be in captivity.
Madura was kidnapped and the ashlanders are demanding 500 gold. I felt it was not worth handing over my gold because that could enable them to kidnap others. So I fought them off and escorted her to safety. I returned to Darius and once again he had me go out and search for an Orc that went missing. I asked around Gnisis for clues and they pointed me in the direction of Arvs Drelen, a Dunmer who has lived here far longer than anyone else. I entered his home and sought him out.
He imprisoned her because he didn't want to pay taxes. Fair enough I broke out the Orc from her imprisonment and made my way back to Darius and found out that there is a cult among the legion. It wasn't the Imperial Cult, there seemingly was a secret cult that had plans to eliminate Emperor Uriel Septim! I asked around and charmed some folks before I was let in on their plans. Darius then ordered me to kill off the ones involved with the cult and that was that. Darius tells me to seek out more Forts for more work.
