The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD features a variety of improvements to make quality of life better for players. In addition to button controls in lieu of the game's original motion controls, Skyward Sword HD also offers a form of fast travel that lets players teleport out of any dungeon or game area, returning back to Skyloft. Alas, this comes at a terrible price: about $25 for a brand new, shiny Zelda Loftwing Amiibo.

Zelda fans are split, with some arguing (correctly) that this is terrible for consumers, while others are arguing (also somewhat correctly) that maybe some people want this Amiibo and they should be allowed to have their fun. Both camps are correct: this is a horribly cruel business move that is, ultimately, exactly what some Zelda fans want.
