[TRIP REPORT] Japan Airlines Boeing 767-300 From Tokyo HND To Okinawa OKA In Business Class
8Flying domestically in Japan is very different compared to taking an international flight. Some things are the same, but there are also a lot of things that works different. In this trip report we take a look at the bustling domestic aviation market of Japan by taking Japan Airlines flight JL 923 from Tokyo Haneda down to Naha on the island of Okinawa.
One big plus of travelling domestic by plane in Japan is that there is absolutely no need to come early to the airport. Usually in the rest of the world you are recommended be there 2 up to 3 hours before departure, but in Japan arriving 1 hour before your flight at the airport is more than enough. You will breeze through security and be at your gate in no time.
Booking Business Class means travelling in luxury, but not so in Japan. Business class means you will only get a better seat in the front section of the aircraft. No other luxuries that usual come with premium air travel. This is however reflected in the cost of the ticket price with Business Class being just slightly more expensive than Economy Class.
