Tyrian 2000 - Engage Mode - Part 38 (Ice Exit)
The Zica ship that stood in Trent's way is now nothing but rubble in Ixmucane's tunnels. Trent finally reaches the secondary Core, inputs the codes provided by Harble, and witnesses the Core's activation.
Transon congratulates Trent for his heroics, but warns him that there is one last battle to win. It will take time for the Core's heat wave to take effect, and before that, temperatures will continue to drop. The scientists, including Harble's group, are in shielded installations and will be reached by the heatwave quickly. They will be rescued by the Emergency Fleet soon. Trent, however, is in the open, and his ship will be unable to blast though thousands of miles of ice, if he waits too long. After confirming the coordinates of the tunnels he needs to follow to escape Ixmucane, Trent blasts off!
... almost. Trent first takes care of another matter. Captain Nob, as usual, rewards Trent's success with an extremely irate rant at how his victory was unexpected. He mentions to Trent "take all the junk from that ship you want, cretin!". Before leaving, Trent has his fighter's scanners take a look at the remains of the Zica ship that opposed him in the Tunnel. Surely Captain Nob was saying nonsense, but it's not every day that Trent gets to destroy an ancient Zica ship of terrible power... what is this? The scanners detect what appears to be a prototype starship computer in the wreckage. Is it of Zica origin? The computer is unlike any ever seen.
Trent salvages it. He is currently flying the Stalker C, the most advanced fighter, if not the most advanced ship, ever created. He remembers obtaining this ship shortly after defeating the Fleet, when he accidentally emerged on the other side of the Stargate in an alternate universe where the Fleet was not yet finished - battles remembered as Tyrian X, Savara Y, and New Deli. Trent now suspects that the Stalker C was built when he destroyed the under-construction Fleet in that alternate universe; Microsol was forced to redirect its efforts towards designing another overpowered ship instead of the Fleet's. Then, that odd clone pirate obtained it and sold it to Trent.
Now, Trent is in possession of the most advanced ship in the universe, and the most advanced computer in the universe. After he escapes Ixmucane, he will have to install the computer on this ship and see where that leads him. Little does he know he is about to create the legendary Stalker 21.126.

Not sure if you get this level if you do not defeat the boss of the previous level. Maybe you do anyway, but just don't get the bonus.
What's the bonus? Well, it's only in the Full Game. You get to purchase the Stalker 21.126, yes, the ship I have in this game, the one from Engage Mode. It doesn't have all the Special Commands, but you need to keep it for a special event later on. Only in Full Game.
This is an easy level. However, some ships shoot a nightmarish stream of snowballs. They block your path very well. And then many of these come at once, and a Secret Level Warp is temptingly put in the middle of them.
I used good old Invulnerability (I should copy-paste this word) to get it, although you can get it without, by destroying as many of the ships as you can, and opening a path to the Warp. Or flying through the snowballs.
Difficulty : 3/10, 4/10 to get the Secret Level.
Number of attempts : 1
