Coming off the longest segment thus far, we now have the shortest. I was going to roll this into the next segment, but between Harpies Cursing/Banishing me, Blood Lizards critting for over 200 damage, Liches OHKO'ing me with Radial Surge, and some rotten luck with the stat wheel, I got reaaaaallllllly tired of redoing this particular chunk of menu mania.

There are a couple of things to note about this bit. 0:21 I take the gem slots back off of my Shiny Hammer. This is a very temporary downgrade, as I'll be picking up my final hilt in the next segment and will never need to use a 0-gem hilt again.

I give my best hilt to the Pole Axe, which makes a dominant Blunt weapon. This gets me to a full set of Edged/Piercing/Blunt/Light weapons available (Shiny Hammer has been serving double duty as Light+Blunt). Technically I still have two Piercing, with both the Affinity and Stormy Nail, but I'll be combining those when I get a few more parts. In particular I need a piece from a chest in Limestone Quarry.

1:42 I return back to Abandoned Mines B2 to pick up the Chest Key chest there, using the orcs to fill my PP up quickly. In the chest room, I get my payback on imps. I finally have them within 2-shot territory (or OHKO if I crit), depriving them of their chance to get a spell off against me. This coupled with the jump to 6 range with the Pole Axe makes them easy pickings. At last.

4:18 Even if I wasn't able to kill these two Imps easily at this point, this room is not the threat the previous ones were because the chest here contains the Grimoire for Restoration. So worst case, had I been hit with Stun Cloud I could have rushed to the chest and finally cure it. That's probably the most important detail to come out of this segment.

I also pick up a Trinity here, the game's Phantom gem. I don't think I'll get much use out of it at this point. I'm starting to reach the guts of the game where my base Agility is going to become a really noticeable handicap, and Braveheart is going to become a core part of every setup.
