This is where having to use the I Spear instead of the B Spear really bites me.

The goal is to have an Air weapon by the time I get to Golem. You have two Slimes before him that will give you Air Affinity, and then Golem himself. Meaning you don't have to have your affinity right by the time you get to the boss room, just close.

The easier strategy here would have been to use the Slashy Nail. It's only 3 points shy of becoming an Air weapon, much easier to do on the first slime. Then you can rack some PP on the second Slime. On top of that, the Golem is weaker to Edged than Piercing.

However, Golem is an easy boss because of his limited damage output, so I take this opportunity to start setting up for the next boss, Dragon. A Piercing Air weapon with a Dragonite on it will be ideal for him. Furthermore, the Stormy Nail is carrying the Air element I'm ultimately going to be using on Guildenstern, so I want to start racking it early, to drive it as high as possible for endgame.

My capture method has some issues with the zoom-in at the beginning of the Golem fight. This is unfortunate, and I don't know how much more of this I'll encounter. Apologies.
