There's a lot going on in this segment. First of all, I have to backtrack to the previous workshop because if I don't, I won't get another chance to repair until after the Snowfly Forest. I uncharacteristically skip the human enemies here, so I can kill them on the way back. That way instead of depleting my DP, they refill my PP.

Once I get to the Undercity West, I go out of my way to try to kill all of the undead in hopes of getting extra Light affinity for later, harder segments. It doesn't go particularly well here. I leave the area with 22 Light on my Shiny Nail, when I'd like to be closer to 30. I don't know if that's going to cause me problems when I get to liches later on or not, we'll just have to find out.

The Giant Crab here is worth mentioning, because he's one of the enemies that first clued me in on the value of a Piercing Air weapon, which can pull heavy duty for a vast stretch of this game. He also gives me Luft Fusion, which will eventually become my best offense.
