You'll notice in this segment my attacks are doing less damage. that's because my Slashy Nail is already wearing low on DP. It's gonna be a hassle during the next part of the game. Otherwise, much of this is the same as the last segment.

7:57 The chest room here is the second worst room in the game. It's worse than the previous chest room for two reasons. First, it has more traps than any other room in the entire game, in a relatively small area, so hitting the Trap Clear in the corner is absolutely crucial. Secondly, the Imp who knows Stun Cloud in this room isn't the closer Imp, which I can often rush and kill quickly. Instead it's the Imp in the back.

Once again, in this particular video the Imps play uncharacteristically nice. The fact that the Stun Cloud Imp flies over to me immediately and does a mere physical attack is flabbergasting. In my previous run they cast four attack spells on me, then paralyzed me 3 times, running my clock down so much I couldn't beat the Earth Elemental.

13:50 Speaking of which, I cut things too close with the Earth Elemental here, because I'm paranoid about the clock. I should have waited for another 6 MP to make things comfortable. I still wind up with way too much extra time after him, and he nearly knocked me below my MAXHP-250 cutoff.

9:40 The Gnome Bracelet I get from the chest is a very worthwhile accessory for this run. It has 15 Piercing on it, meaning it will sometimes be my best offensive option, depending on my setup. It also pairs well in this particular fight. I need the Gnome Bracelet for earth defense regardless, but the +15 Piercing helps offset the detriment done to my offense by the -10 Air.
