[Vigor] MAP12: Marble Madness (UV-Max Demo)
7this map's kind of a banger. is it the heretic music? it might be the heretic music. or that it's named after one of the all-time arcade classics. it starts off quietly enough, but each encounter gets substantially more difficult. the first and second room aren't particularly tough especially if you can arrange for the hitscanners to infight. those secrets in the second room though... i think they require an sr50. at least i couldn't figure out how to get there with an sr40. the third room is spicier with the chaingunners in the back and the big pit of revenants... and an evil marine chaser. i tried letting them loose early for infighting purposes but couldn't figure out how to do it safely. the next room is mostly rough because you get dropped into it and have to scramble out of the way of the archvile, but there's a handy corner nearby. but the finale... oof. you get an archvilie in front of you, an evil marine behind you, and a whole crew of escorts. also you get locked into a very small space. spicy stuff! oh and one more archvile at the exit, just for fun.
can archviles resurrect evil marines? let's try not to find out.
