in an unusual change of pace for vigor, i actually completed this on my first run. there's a pretty high enemy count, but there's a whole lot of cannon fodder mixed in there. kind of a tnt feeling if we're being honest, although it's not nearly as terrible as anything in tnt. the first room might be the hardest part with those arachnotrons and barons harassing you, actually. the big set piece follows where you reach a big room and it gets flooded by roughly a zillion imps. also there's a cyberdemon who you can enlist to help, although really most of the work is on you. the yellow key section is maybe the most tnt-like where there's a trap where chaingunners teleport in... one at a time... very slowly. shades of... map11 i think? the finale winds up being pretty explosive but not too bad. glad i managed to backpedal out of that final room in time, i thought i was toast there for a second.
