Vlogging on a Sony A7iii with a Rode VideoMicro external video microphone
In this video I'm trying out the Rode VideoMicro video microphone as a vlogging mic with the Sony A7iii
While I may not be a vlogger, my use of the VideoMicro in this video with the A7iii is the same as what most people would do if they vlog.
This setup would be the same for other similar mics and any camera that has a microphone in put on it capable of excepting an external mic.
In the video I use the VideoMicro and A7iii in a couple of setups outside, on a tripod and handheld on a pistol grip for selfie vlogging type filming.
Indoors I use the VideoMicro effectively as a boom mic on a scissor type stand, in this instance using a Rode PSA1 studio boom arm.
The B-cam used in this video was a Yi 4K+
For anyone interested, I use Edius by Grass Valley as my video editing software for all of my videos. https://www.grassvalley.com/products/subcat-editing_software/
Special thanks to my very good friend 'Threlly', for once again letting me use his Sony A7iii for making my YouTube videos. Cheers, Gaz.
