Lao Tzu Not Trying is about wuwei, the art of effortless action.
It is often associated with going with the flow of nature. It leads some people to think that the practice is about doing whatever your fancy takes you. In fact, “nature” has a specific meaning in the Tao Te Ching and the practice of wu wei. It is about “what is”, or what things naturally are. But what you think or what you like may not be what things actually are.
