This is video #16 in my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES. Flush from his success in the Skeleton Forest, Link will now explore the Dark World's fourth dungeon, Thieves' Town in the Village of Outcasts. This is also referred to as Blind's Lair. To gain entrance to this dungeon, Link must pull on the pitchfork of the gargoyle statue in the middle of the village.

In Thieves' Town, be on constant lookout for Rabbit Beams, which temporarily nullify the Moon Pearl and turn Link into a rabbit. He is defenseless in this form. In the northwest of this first room, Link can grab the Map from the first treasure chest (time 0:33).

In the room to the north, there is a chest with 20 Rupees on the upper level (time 1:06). In the east of this room, Link can knock down a wall to gain entrance to the room to the east (time 1:46). In this room, Link takes the southwestern exit to the room to the south (time 2:21).

In the elevated area of the southern room, there is a chest with the dungeon's Compass (time 2:41). Directly west of there, in the southeast corner of the entry room, is the chest containing the Big Key (time 2:59). Wow, we already have all the dungeon's major navigation tools!

To proceed, Link returns to the room to the east and takes the eastern pathway north (time 3:47). In the next room, he takes the nearest stairway north. The path leading further into the dungeon is past the Big Key door (time 4:18).

The hall beyond houses several Stalfos. In the northeast corner, there is a Key under the skull pot. The boss room is to the north, but there are a couple of things to take care of before the boss will appear.

Link takes the locked door in the southwest of the hall (time 4:45). A few rooms to the west, Link will find a long conveyor belt (time 5:20). Past the Gibos, fire snakes, and Anti-Fairy, Link will arrive in a room with spike traps trapped behind blue barriers. Under the skull pot is a Key for the northern door.

The northern door leads up to 1F (time 5:51). Through the telepatic tile, Zelda offers some sage advice about Blind. Before he can proceed, Link must make the downstairs switch blue to lower the blue barriers. The switch that opens the eastern door is under the southeast pot.

A few rooms to the east, the light is shining through a window onto a cracked section of floor (time 6:59). This room directly overlooks the boss chamber. Hmm ... remember how Sahsrahla's neighbor in the Light World said Blind hated bright light? Link needs to bomb the cracked floor to open it up and make the light shine into the boss chamber below. Additional clues are all the free Bombs in this room.

Link then returns to B1 (time 7:36). Before exiting south, the switch should be blue and the blue barriers down (time 8:03). This is so that Link can take the closer door to the east.

A couple of rooms to the east is a room full of conveyor belts (time 8:22). From there, Link goes downstairs to B2 through the northern door (time 8:47). Sadly, the hole in the floor does not go there.

Killing all the enemies in the first B2 room unlocks the western door (time 9:13). A couple of rooms to the west is an unnecessary room with conveyor belts, bumpers, and Baris.

From the first B2 room, Link goes through the south door past the big block (time 9:50). To the east is a sequence of cells that can be opened with the Big Key. The chest next to the girl contains a Key (time 10:41). I'll be back for her later.

Past a locked door a couple of rooms to the west is a big chest with the dungeon's treasure, the Titan's Mitt (time 10:54). Link can now move the darker stones and reach many new places. For some reason, this is not needed to clear the dungeon, but it is needed to reach all later dungeons.

Back to the east, Link talks with the captive girl (time 11:23). Interesting ... something is not quite right here. He leads her back upstairs to B1 (time 11:44). The switch that opens the eastern door is under the northeastern pot.

Link guides the girl into the boss room (time 11:59). However, she goes nuts when Link guides her into the light. It's really Blind the Thief! Blind is an interesting boss. He dances around the north and south parts of the room while shooting lasers at Link. When Link delivers a blow, Blind shoots beams in several directions. When Link has done enough damage, Blind's head will fly off and continuously shoot beams. Another head will grow in its place. In the end, there will be two heads dancing around the room and one head atop Blind's body. Link will definitely have fun trying to evade his attacks.

At the end, Link will get another Heart Container and Crystal (time 12:55). This maiden tells link about the Knights of Hyrule.

Description continued in the comments.
