#1054 Tatsunoko vs. Capcom (Wii) Hidden Characters (5/5): Yatterman-2 gameplay.
Gameplay of the hidden character Yatterman-2 in the Wii port of Capcom’s Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars.
A few days ago, I reached 2700 subscribers! Thanks so much to everyone who’s joined recently; the last 100 reached was only three weeks ago, which is just crazy. A huge thanks to everyone who’s been continuing to follow the exploits of this series, as well as everyone who’s recently started watching; there’s still some pretty interesting stuff to see yet.
Yatterman-2 a cute. However, while there’s definitely something to her moveset, I found her pretty damn limited on the whole. A lot of her moveset seems to focus around her press-rapid multi-strike move, her supers are pretty limited in their effectiveness (although her hyper-combo isn’t half-bad), and in general she seems almost competent but a bit fiddly to really do much with. I had the same problem I had with Tekkaman Blade but on a bigger scale, as her rapid-press attacks work in the air as well. While this can potentially be to your advantage, it made me feel as if I had less control over her, as I had to be really precise with my button presses to execute proper combos and aerial combos with her. On the whole, not a big fan, but there’s definitely something to her playstyle and I admire it for what it is, if not necessarily entirely in its execution.
Next up, we finally return to the Marvel vs. series, for a very bullshit boss indeed. See you then.
